The Directorate General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of the European Commission (DG MARE) and the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO (IOC-UNESCO) are jointly organising the 3rd edition of the International Conference on Marine/Maritime Spatial Planning.
Objective: To assess the state-of-the-art implementation of MSP and discuss challenges and opportunities to achieve the MSProadmap target*.
Language: English, French and Spanish
Type of event: In person event + Live streaming
Registration to the public: Starting in mid-September 2022
(!) Stakeholders interested in participating in the Conference will need to register through a specific link that will be disseminated soon. The registration is only for those who will attend in person.
(*) MSProadmap target: Cover at least 1/3 of the global maritime areas under national jurisdictions with marine spatial plans by 2030.
