Regional MSPforums

Taking into account that neighbouring countries share similar context and transboundary issues, the Regional MSPforums aim to amplify the efforts of the International MSPforum, creating opportunities to engage regional, national and local stakeholders.

Regional MSPforums

One of the actions of the Updated Joint MSProadmap adopted in 2022 by UNESCO’s Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission and the Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of the European Commission (DG MARE) aims to build a network of Regional MSPforums together with interested regional institutions and initiatives working on MSP.
