The ICES Annual Science Conference is taking place in Gateshead, UK, (9-12 September 2024) and we are delighted to invite participants of the conference to join our theme session ‘Accounting for climate change in Marine Spatial Planning: Experiences and lessons learnt‘.
The session will be hosted by the ICES Working Group Marine Planning and Coastal Zone Management (WGMPCZM) and the MSPglobal Initiative. We will be drawing insights from multiple case studies, research, and practical experiences to provide a comprehensive analysis of how climate change (adaptation and mitigation) is changing MSP practices at multiple scales.
