The Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO (IOC), the Directorate General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of the European Commission (DG MARE), and the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries of the Republic of Indonesia (MMAF) are co-organising the 6th International MSPforum in Bali, Indonesia this year.

We look forward to bringing together MSP practitioners from around the world to discuss and exchange concrete ideas and recommendations on strengthening the links between MSP and the three thematic pillars of the Updated MSProadmap: marine protection and restoration, climate change, and sustainable blue economy. The format will be similar to previous editions consisting of interactive panels followed by round-table discussions, as well as a day dedicated to visiting stakeholders.

Applications closed on 7th July. 

(!) Participants will be selected based on geographical, gender, and generational balance, prioritizing those involved in MSP processes, and who have not participated in previous editions. Please wait for the confirmation of your selection to participate before booking any travel arrangements.
