In the framework of the Joint Roadmap to accelerate Maritime/Marine Spatial Planning (MSP) processes worldwide, an online seminar will present the results of a new study on the economic impacts of Maritime Spatial Planning (MSP) and links with the Blue Economy, showcase practical applications and identify potential solutions and ways forward for its application at international level (outside of Europe).

This session is jointly organized by UNESCO’s Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission as well as the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (DG MARE) and Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (EASME).
